While formally established in October of 2020, the idea of Greene Solutions was borne many years prior. The name of the company comes from the founder’s grandfather who was a well-revered foothold in his country, Guyana. Keith Wiggins always had a vision to own an engineering firm that would continue that legacy from Guyana to the U.S. In his quest to accomplish this goal, he gained a lots of experience and made significant professional connections that have contributed to this milestone.

Months later, Keith Wiggins carefully selected and hired his first team of drafters, engineers, and project managers to execute his first contract.

Keith Wiggins is an experienced, results-oriented leader and engineer with a Master of Business Administration and in-depth knowledge of engineering and design for utilities, industrial, government, and renewable clients. He is a dynamic and decisive leader with a successful track record of performance in increasing business, growing bottom line and creating innovative solutions for complex issues.
Keith Wiggins was born and raised in Washington, DC. As a DC native he grew up in the Northwest quadrant of DC at the time that poverty and crime were at all-time highs. His family made sure to keep his focus on church, school, and family. From there, he attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. While at Penn State, he played basketball for his first two years and then worked full-time his last two years at UPS, United Parcel Service. At UPS, he was quickly promoted into management displaying his knack for being an effective leader.
Keith left UPS and began working at PPL as an engineer. PPL had several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and Keith felt it was his obligation to join as many as possible. Joining these groups gave him incredible insight of how important every person’s voice was in an organization, and how important it is to make everyone feel included. After being a member for many years, Keith was elected as the President of the African-American Employee Resource Group at PPL.
After 12 years in Pennsylvania, Keith came back home to the DMV area working at HMI Services; the engineering division of Henkels and McCoy. Since joining HMI, Keith has gone back to school and obtained his Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University.
After 15+ years of engineering and management roles, Keith decided to take the step into entrepreneurship. He started Greene Solutions in 2020. After seeing the chaos happening across the country with the Black Lives Matter movement, he knew it was time that he created something would preserve his legacy. Greene Solutions is an engineering firm based out of Northern VA, supporting utility clients in the gas, power, and solar industry. Their primary focus territories are the East Coast, the Southeast region, and the Southwest region of the U.S.
